PRO ROBOT MANIPULATOR ARMS DETAILS

The Lynxmotion SES Pro Modular Robotic Arms offer one of the first modular approaches to high torque and high precision robotic manipulation. Unlike purpose-built arms, these are designed to be either used as is, or reconfigured to suit the user’s application. Joints can be swapped or reoriented, added or removed, and existing degrees of freedom can be reconfigured or removed. The design of the 550mm and 90mm ensures there are no evident pinch points.

The Lynxmotion Professional series of Smart Servos (LSS-P) form the basis of the Servo Erector Set Pro (SES-PRO) series and incorporate strain wave gearing, high torque NEMA Stepper motors and onboard electronics. Unlike most systems, these are designed to be easy to mount and use, with a human readable communication protocol and daisy chained CAN BUS and power.

These robotic manipulators can be used on a fixed surface and connected to the mains, but are equally suitable for installing on mobile platforms and can be powered using an 8S Lithium battery pack. Easily change the tubing length to change the reach and payload of the arm
