Step 1.
Assemble the base rotate structure as illustrated. Use four of the .375" 4-40 screws and four of the 1.000" hex spacers. Tighten these down snugly.

Step 2.
You should have a small bag of parts packaged with your servos. Locate the four small rubber bushings and install them onto the servo as illustrated in figure 2. These parts are polarized, meaning they can only be installed one way. If you have difficulty, try turning the part around. The other components in the servo parts bag are not needed. Do this for both servos.

Step 3.
Install the servo into the base rotate structure. Use two of the .500" 4-40 screws and two of the nylon acorn nuts. Easy does it, these can be over tightened.

Step 4.
Drill the servo horn with the 3/32" drill in the indicated positions. These holes are by the 2 and the 4 molded on the horn. Do this to both the servos.

Step 5.
Install the tilt servo base onto the pan servo as illustrated. Use two of the 0.250" #4 tapping screws. Be careful not to over tighten these screws as they can strip out the nylon servo horn.

Step 11.
Any small CCD camera can be attached to the Pan and Tilt assembly. The mounting plate is 1.875" wide by 1.250" high, and the entire surface can be used. The camera can be attached with double sided tape, but it's better to use the included hardware. To drill the holes you should first remove the camera mounting plate from the Pan and Tilt assembly. Simply hold the camera centered over the plate and carefully mark the holes with a small screw driver, or anything that will lightly scratch the surface. Carefully drill the holes with a drill press if available. The camera can then be installed using eight .250" 4-40 screws and four .375" nylon spacers.
