About the Servo Erector Set  Now with Ball Bearings!
Think of the Lynxmotion series of servo brackets as an Erector Set for servos. These components are extremely versatile, making virtually any mechanical arrangement possible. It's now possible to build custom robots to your specifications! The brackets are available in black anodized or brushed finish. The ball bearings provide for precise low friction movement. The tubing, hubs and hub connectors are precision fit and really expand what is possible to build. They are made in the USA from high quality aluminum alloy. We also have a series of laser cut Lexan chassis, torso, and electronics carriers that truly complete the set. The parts are either tinted "smoked" or black Lexan, although we can provide them in clear, white or yellow if requested.

How Does it Work?
You can build an entire assembly using just the components. Then populate the assembly with servos using only two screws for the servo horn, and four push in rivet fasteners to secure the servo body. This makes it surprisingly quick and easy to design and build rugged assemblies. If nylon fasteners don't suit your taste 3mm hardware can be substituted. Replacing a servo, if necessary, is effortless as the assembly doesn't need to be taken apart. Simply remove the two servo horn screws, and remove the rivet fasteners by pushing from the rear and the servo will slide out.

Control
Lynxmotion Visual Sequencer (SEQ-01) is a Windows program for controlling anything you build using up to 32 servos with the SSC-32. The main screen allows you to add servo control boxes and position them on a grid. This visual representation of the robot makes it easier to position the servos for each sequence. Lots of other features. The program will even generate Basic Atom and Basic Stamp 2 code as well.

Standard Servo Brackets
The standard brackets line can use most standard size normal or digital servos. The HS-3xx, 4xx, 5xx, 6xx, 54xx, 56xx, and 59xx servos are verified to fit. Note: we include a round servo horn with the servos we sell if it's not normally included, but other sources will not. With the new ultra powerful digital servos it is now possible to control larger, more complex assemblies than ever before. The HS-5645 digital servo is the most cost effective power house digital servo. The HSR-5990TG with 417 oz. in. of torque is the most powerful standard size servo. Beware of Bluebird or GWS servos. They are drastically oversized and will not fit the brackets!

Large Servo Brackets
The large brackets line can use several large size normal or digital servos. The HS-755HB, HS-755MG, and HS-5745MG servos are verified to fit.

Micro Servo Brackets
The micro brackets line can use several micro size servos. The HS-85BB and HS-85MG servos are verified to fit.
